Information for Parents of Children in the Nursery

Please review the following information regarding placing your child in the nursery at Calvary Chapel of Bellmawr.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding this information, please contact one of the Nursery Coordinators:  Karen Acton 856-547-2503 or Carolyn Nevshehirlian 856-273-1454.

v     If your child is sick (i.e. colored runny nose, persistent cough, fever, etc), we ask that you please stay at home with him/her.  We are trying to protect all of our children in the nursery.  Thank you for your co operation and consideration of others.

v     Please be prompt in picking up your child from the nursery.

v     Please make sure your child eats a hearty breakfast before coming into the nursery.  We would like to limit the variety of snacks in the nursery to Plain Cheerios as this snack is safe in regards to choking, allergies, etc.

v     Please try to avoid loitering inside the nursery and in the doorway of the nursery.  The doorway gets crowded for parents needing to drop off and pick up their children.

v     On very rare occasions, the nursery staff may need to bring a parent out of a service to soothe a crying child.  Please try to sit in the back of the sanctuary or along the windows so that the nursery help can easily find you.

v     Please be sure that children between the ages of 0-36 months are the children you place in the nursery.  We have a wonderful Sunday school class for 3 & 4 year olds.  If you need assistance in finding the right class for your child, please see one of the Sunday school teachers or Paul Cummings.

Procedure for picking-up and dropping off a child in the nursery:

v     When signing a child into the nursery, please use the sign-in sheet on the clip board.  Note the child’s name, parent’s name and any special instructions.  You can list multiple children from one family on one line.  When you drop off your child, you will receive a numbered bracelet which corresponds with the number on the sign in sheet.  The nursery help must receive the bracelet back at the time you are picking up your child.
